• discontinue self tanning products, it is necessary to remove all self tan residue for even results.
your new tan will not develop evenly over last weeks spray!

• in the week leading up to your tan exfoliate your entire body with an exfoliating mitt - on two different days and keep your skin hydrated, moisturize daily.

• avoid the use of dove bar soap in preparation for the tan and for the duration of your tan

• final shave/wax + exfoliation needs to be completed 12 hours prior to appointment

• mani/pedi. waxing. facial and lash/brow appointments need to be completed before your tan 

• wash your hair prior to your appointment (or plan out your hair washing schedule) to avoid washing your hair during your first rinse. ingredients in shampoo + conditioner can interfere with the development of your tan

​• no lotion, deodorant or perfume to your appointment - these products can all create a barrier between your skin and the DHA resulting in an uneven tan, green armpits and blotchy patterns.

schedule one to three days prior to a planned trip or special event. with proper prep and post care expect bronzed skin for seven to ten days.

a spray tan should be the last step in your routine. manicure and pedicures, wax appointments, facials, lash/brow and massage appointments need to be completed a minimum of 4-12 hours before your spray tan appointment.

all beauty services utilize their own products throughout the appointment. when some products are used too close to your spray appointment it can create a barrier between your skin and the DHA (active ingredient in spray tan) or when applied after the spray can discolor or strip the tan. schedule accordingly.

• during the tan - feel comfortable to wear as little or as much as you prefer during the tan. bikini, bra, thong, naked - keep tan lines in mind before we begin!

disposable thongs are available if preferred
for men, please wear underwear or some form of covering

• post spray‍ - ‍dark and loose fitting clothing is necessary to change into. no bra, leggings or tight closed toe shoes - flip flops are recommended post spray! please arrive with appropriate attire if it is raining.

• PLAN ACCORDINGLY. be prepared to stay completely dry for a minimum of two to eight hours post spray tan
(rapid tans allow you to rinse the solution in 2-5 hours. standard solution will need eight hours dry on the skin.)

• no skin to skin contact in the time leading up to your rinse, primarily your palms! do not cross your legs. the dha will transfer and result in an uneven spray.

rinse at the recommended time, especially when doing the rapid!

the first rinse after a rapid tan is water only! skip the soaps and moisturizer, that includes shampoo and conditioner until your first real shower the following day.

immediately after rinsing you may think you lost all your color, this is normal. the tan takes a full 12-24 hours to develop, trust the process!

• no hot showers, steam rooms or saunas. lukewarm water is always recommended. do not cleanse with a wash cloth or loofa, pat skin dry with a towel - do not rub!

​• keep skin hydrated, the following day begin applying moisturizer day and night to ensure desired results and prolonged color.

i have sprayed many expecting mothers! it is recommended that any concerns be addressed with your OBGYN.

the spray room is equipped with a highly effective extraction unit to collect overspray and prevent inhalation for both the client and airbrush artist.
